How shall I print my MS Excel graphs?

Make sure your Excel graph is on one individual sheet, not within a spreadsheet. Then choose File → Save as Adobe PDF.

When combining multiple graphs you need to select the cells around the graph and then use File → Export → Create Adobe PDF. There you choose “Selection” and “Fit to paper width”.

Please ensure you send us only EPS, PS, or PDF files. The easiest way (if the above doesn’t work) is to print the file to the Adobe PDF printer or distiller with fonts embedded. DO NOT USE THE PDF-writer. Do not simply convert Excel files into TIFF-files; that just makes them worse!

Mine Water is the water that collects in both surface and underground mines. It comes from the inflow of rain or surface water and from groundwater seepage. During the active life of the mine, water is pumped out to keep the mine dry and to allow access to the ore body. Pumped water may be used in the extraction process, pumped to tailings impoundments, used for activities like dust control, or discharged as a waste. The water can be of the same quality as drinking water, or it can be very acidic and laden with high concentrations of potentially toxic elements.
